    This Privacy Policy explains how Import2Sales ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our platform to import products and create sales pages. By using Import2Sales, you agree to the practices described here.

    2. Information We Collect

    We collect information you give us directly, including your name, email address, password, business name, and WhatsApp number when you create an account. We also store the product details, images, copy, and landing pages you create, and we collect usage and device information automatically to operate and improve the service.

    3. How We Use Your Information

    We use your information to provide and maintain the service, generate and host your landing pages, process your subscription, send you technical and support messages, prevent abuse, and improve our features. We do not use the content of buyer conversations, which happen directly on WhatsApp.

    4. Your Public Landing Pages

    Anything you choose to publish on a landing page (product details, photos, prices, your seller name, and your WhatsApp number) is publicly visible to anyone with the link. When a visitor taps your order button, they are taken to WhatsApp to message you directly. We only record anonymous counts such as page views and order-button clicks, not the messages themselves.

    5. Payments

    Subscription payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Paystack. We do not collect or store your full card details on our servers. We retain records of your plan, billing cycle, and payment status so we can manage your subscription.

    6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

    We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the platform (for example, our hosting and database provider and Paystack for payments), or when required by law. Product information you import originates from third-party suppliers and is subject to their own terms.

    7. Cookies and Tracking

    We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the service is used. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some features may not work correctly without them.

    8. Data Security

    We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data at all times.

    9. Data Retention

    We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Landing pages on the free plan expire after 7 days. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

    10. Your Rights

    You can access, update, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. You may also opt out of marketing messages. We will respond to valid requests within a reasonable time.

    11. Children

    Import2Sales is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.

    12. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
