1. Welcome to Import2Sales
Import2Sales is a no-code tool built for African mini-importers. It takes a product from any major supplier and turns it into a polished, mobile-first sales page that buyers can order from in one tap on WhatsApp, ideal for Payment-on-Delivery selling.
The whole journey is just five moves:
- Import a product from a supplier link (or add one manually)
- Let AI rewrite the copy into a persuasive headline, benefits, and FAQ
- Customize the page with your price, photos, and WhatsApp number
- Publish it to get a shareable public link
- Share the link and take orders through WhatsApp
New to the tool? Read this manual in order the first time. Once you have published a page or two, you will rarely need anything beyond the Customizing and WhatsApp sections.
2. Getting Started
Create a free account to get going. No credit card is required to start, and you can publish your first page on the free plan right away.
- 1Click Get Started and sign up with your email and a password.
- 2You land on your Dashboard, your home base for products, pages, and performance.
- 3Open Settings and add your business name and WhatsApp number so new pages are pre-filled.
Your dashboard shows four key numbers at a glance:
- Products: how many items you have imported
- Landing Pages: how many pages you have created, and how many are live
- Total Views: how many people have opened your pages
- WhatsApp Clicks: how many tapped the order button, plus your conversion rate (CVR)
The top navigation moves you between Dashboard, Products, Landing Pages, and Settings.
3. Importing a Product
There are two ways to add a product. Both start from the Import Product button on your dashboard.
Option A: Paste a supplier link
- 1Copy a product URL from AliExpress, 1688, Temu, Alibaba, Amazon, or a similar store.
- 2Paste it into the import field and start the import.
- 3Import2Sales pulls in the title, images, and details automatically.
Option B: Add it manually
- 1Choose to enter details manually instead of pasting a link.
- 2Type in the product name, description, price, and upload your own photos.
- 3Save, and the product appears in your Products list.
If a link does not import cleanly (some suppliers block automated reading), switch to manual entry. Clear, well-lit product photos make the biggest difference to sales, so add your own where you can.
4. AI Copywriting
Supplier listings are written for warehouses, not buyers. When you create a page, Import2Sales uses AI to rewrite the raw details into copy that sells:
- A punchy headline that leads with the benefit
- A short sub-headline that builds desire
- Benefit bullets that explain why it is worth buying
- A set of frequently asked questions to remove doubt
Every piece of AI copy is fully editable. Treat it as a strong first draft, then make it yours.
Add local flavour the AI cannot know: your delivery timelines, your city, naira pricing, and a guarantee. A line like "Pay on delivery in Lagos, 1 to 2 days" builds more trust than any generic claim.
5. Customizing Your Page
Open a product and choose Create Landing Page (or edit an existing page from Landing Pages). The editor gives you a live preview, so you can see exactly what buyers will see on mobile and desktop as you work.
You can edit:
- Headline and sub-headline
- Product images: reorder them and add your own photos
- Price and original price, to show a clear discount
- Currency and delivery method (for example, Pay on Delivery)
- Benefit grid, FAQs, and customer testimonials with a star rating
- Trust badges, a guarantee message, and a stock indicator
- An optional countdown timer to create urgency
- Your brand colour and seller name
- Your WhatsApp number and the message buyers send when they order
- SEO title and description (on paid plans)
Set the original price higher than your selling price so the discount and savings show automatically. A visible price drop is one of the strongest nudges to buy.
6. Publishing & Sharing
When the page looks right, flip it to Published. It goes live at a public link you can share anywhere, in the form /p/your-page-name.
- 1Publish the page from the editor or the Landing Pages list.
- 2Copy the public link.
- 3Share it on WhatsApp status, your Instagram bio, TikTok, or paid ads.
You can unpublish a page at any time. On the free plan, pages carry Import2Sales branding and expire after 7 days, upgrade to keep them live permanently and remove the watermark.
7. Selling on WhatsApp
The green order button on every page opens WhatsApp with a message already typed, addressed to your number. The buyer just hits send, and the conversation starts in your inbox.
- Enter your WhatsApp number with the country code (for example, 234 for Nigeria)
- Customize the pre-filled message so you know which product the buyer wants
- Reply quickly: fast responses close far more Payment-on-Delivery orders
- Confirm the delivery address and any delivery fee before you dispatch
Save quick replies in WhatsApp for your most common questions (price, delivery time, areas you cover). It keeps you fast even when several buyers message at once.
8. Tracking Performance
Both your dashboard and the Landing Pages list track how each page is doing:
- Views: how many people opened the page
- WhatsApp Clicks: how many tapped the order button
- Conversion Rate (CVR): clicks divided by views, as a percentage
Use these to spot your winners. A page with lots of views but few clicks usually needs a stronger offer, a better price, or clearer photos. A high CVR means the product is ready to scale with more traffic.
9. Plans & Billing
There are three plans, so you only pay as you grow:
- Free: 1 page to test the tool, with branding, expiring after 7 days
- Starter: up to 5 pages, full AI rewrite, SEO basics, legal pages, and no branding
- Pro: up to 25 pages, advanced AI copy, custom domain, templates, and A/B testing
Payments are handled securely through Paystack, with monthly or yearly billing (yearly saves you roughly 17%). You can upgrade, downgrade, or change billing from the Pricing page at any time. If a card payment fails, you keep access for a short grace period before the account returns to the free plan.
Start free, prove that a product sells, then upgrade to Starter or Pro to remove the 7-day expiry and the watermark and to run several products at once.
10. Troubleshooting & FAQ
My supplier link will not import.
Some stores block automated reading. Double-check the URL, try again, or use manual entry to add the product details yourself.
The product images are missing or low quality.
Upload your own photos in the editor. Your own clear images almost always convert better than supplier stock photos.
The WhatsApp button does not open a chat.
Make sure your WhatsApp number includes the country code and no spaces or symbols (for example, 2348012345678).
My page disappeared.
Free-plan pages expire after 7 days. Upgrade to a paid plan to keep your pages live permanently.
